Meet Graham Boyd

So who are we?
I’m Graham Boyd, I’m based in Chester and since 2018 I’ve been creating bespoke
murals for commercial premises.
For the past few years Nikki Pinder, talented local illustrator, has been lending a hand
We concentrate on transforming spaces by visualising stories that inspire employees
while engaging visitors and customers alike.
How did we get here?
I qualified as a product designer and worked for several consultancies, prior to co-
founding a design/manufacturing company and managing it for over a decade.
This background drummed home the importance of the brief, the budget and the
deadline. Along with the value of good customer communication.
Since 2018 I’ve been applying this to the creation of murals and to date have
completed seventy plus projects across the UK.
What does a typical job look like?
It will usually fall into four stages:
One
We meet up with the customer to ensure we understand their requirements and to
get a good look at the space. Those requirements then form the basis of a written
proposal which includes a fixed price and target timetable.
Two
Once the proposal is agreed we get underway by exploring a range of subjects and
styles that meet the brief. These are then presented for discussion with the aim of
selecting the preferred design.
Three
Any agreed modifications are then undertaken, and the selected design is re-
submitted for approval.
Four
When approved the selected design is applied to your walls whether they be large or
small, inside or out.
